I’m curious, is there a dog whistle when saying you are the son of a mailman? (no es bueno, he was not politically correct, shouldn’t he have stated that parent #2 was a mailperson?) I have heard him say it over and over, he must be getting something out of it?
“he must be getting something out of it”
yeah, it gives him something to say to help fill up the void of his debate time. He put a LOT of effort into memorizing that phrase, and a few others like “As governor of Ohio ...”, so he uses them a lot. Plus by using memorized phrases he’s slightly less likely to look so crazed.

Maybe it’s something as simple as getting only his mail in his mailbox that day. That would certainly be a change and a big plus in our neighborhood.
