Cruz’s ten percent flat tax would mean a one-page tax code. And he explained it in sixty seconds

Didn't mention that businesses would no longer be able to deduct payroll from their gross profit (on which they will be taxed). Should do wonders for salary increases and increasing employment.

Not only would the business pay 16% on gross receipts including wages and the profits but the business owner would pay an additional 10% on the already 16% taxed profit when s/he files the individual return. All to pay for the eliminated corporate tax.

The sCruz VAT tax is a business and jobs killer apparently written by his crony capitalist money donors on cocktail napkins.

Come to think of it, using the sCruz VAT tax method of taxation there are no defined profits.

If you file joint/individual you can itemize deductions and you can do all of it on a post card too. Also you can deduct all you want because there will no longer be an IRS to police it...it will be Xanadu.
