Rubio is being set up to be the Establishment’s “not Bush”. Just another GOPe stooge with some talking points so that he sounds like he isnt one of them.
His real target is Carson. The press softened him up for the past week, and Rubio is going in for the kill.
It’s to position him against Trump.
“After the New York Times reported that the pro-Bush super PAC Right to Rise USA has filmed an attack video claiming Rubio’s hard-line stance on abortion makes him unelectable and its top strategist has shown a willingness to unleash as much as $20 million worth of ads targeting the Florida senator, Rubio’s campaign tried to turn the group’s plans to its advantage by raising money off of them.”
That seals Bush’s fate. Abortion is a key position for Conservatives and without Conservatives, as has been proven time and again, you cannot win an election. Rubio, if he was smart would use this as a campaign ad.
“The Bush campaign today said Conservatives should go to hell. Let him know how you feel. Call.........”
Notice they are not attacking his open borders policy on illegal immigrants.
So Rubio is going after Jeb. Trump and Cruz will be going after Rubio. Should make for an interesting evening.
