Pentagon ‘gay’ rape debacle: Report alleging male-on-male sexual trauma retracted

The American Psychological Association has taken the extraordinary step of retracting an in-house journal article that asserted the rate of rape and other sexual trauma among military men was as much as 15 times higher than the Pentagon’s own survey.

In a press released posted Sunday night, the APA said outside scholars had examined the study, "Preliminary Data Suggest Rates of Male Sexual Trauma May be Higher than Previously Reported," and determined that the method for randomly selecting and surveying male combat veterans was flawed.

"Although the article went through our standard peer-review process, other scholars have since examined the data and raised valid concerns regarding the design and statistical analysis, which compromise the findings," Gary R. VandenBos, APA's publisher, said in announcing the retraction.

In other words, the sodomites running the APA demanded that the facts be suppressed.

doesn't alter the fact no one is questioning or talking about the scary numbers of the Rand study on behalf of the pentagon from awhile ago.

"The Rand Corp., which conducted the Pentagon's latest sexual assault survey, found that 12,000 military men said they were sexually assaulted last year. Of those, 3,850 said they were the victims of "penetrative" attacks, meaning they were raped."

I think I am with you there. Below is a letter I wrote about the subject.

When I went through an MBA program in finance, I decided to avoid what I considered the touchy, feely courses in sales and marketing and instead took some in quantitative methods. There I encountered a psychology professor who was frustrated about the direction his concentration in abnormal psychology was moving. He was into the rigorous application of statistics for any doctoral committees on which he served, so he strongly opposed a recent decision of his association.

In 1973 the American Psychiatric Association (APA) decided to remove homosexuality as a mental disorder from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM). Removal followed a two year campaign Newsweek described as ongoing disruptive, chaotic attacks on psychiatrists and physiologists. Yet throughout these disruptive attacks, no academic papers arose at conferences refuting any research previously done. Eventually onslaughts forced sufficient abstentions, under-votes, and apprehensive responses for a third of APA’s 17,000 plus membership to approve removal.

Next activists targeted leading individual researchers such as Dr. David Reuben to ensure perpetual sanctity for the APA action. No research papers would again arise to confirm initial therapy success rates of 30% to 60 %, substantiating that 7 of 10 homosexuals could eventually walk away from the lifestyle. Persistent activism over 37 years enabled ubiquitous infiltration of academia ensuring pre-ordained theses, approved flexibility in research designs, suitable human data points, and enchanting statistical enhancements. New standards for peer review of articles ensured appropriate design definitions, outcomes, and analytical models.

Psychology and Psychiatry have always had a tenuous hold on claims they were sciences with the standing of Chemistry and Physics. On the scale of intellectual rigor, their research more often resembles alchemy and/or oral history, and seldom, if ever, approaches the determinism found in a Chemistry laboratory.

The developments in statistics should have enabled them to a least determine there is a marginal or significant propensity for a particular disorder. Careful studies could have identified and graded methods of treatment. Given persistence in searching for correct methods of analysis, even accumulated episodic events could be sifted for transformation into valid information. Research would have proceeded more slowly and conclusions would have been less intuitive, but more stable. The disciplines would more often have adhered to the medical principle of “first of all, do no harm”. Responsible research should also acknowledge those pesky humans, who in spite of their genetics and upbringing, decide to live positive lives without APA professional help.

Instead, Psychology and Psychiatry have chosen to abandon all pretense of scientific rigor in exchange for popular societal and political acclaim. The barriers erected to meaningful research about homosexuality remind me of Genesis 3:23-24. In these verses the Lord God banished humanity from the Garden of Eden and placed an angel in the Garden to keep humanity away forever. By their actions, Psychology and Psychiatry appear content within their own Garden of Eden. They seem to consider the accoutrements of a religion to be more attractive than those of a science.

Psychology and Psychiatry have chosen to relinquish scientific rigor for popular societal and political acclaim. With studies concerning homosexuality freed from objective analysis, advocates for social justice rely upon base antidotal politics to dominate debates.

Yep, the homo lobby got to them to suppress this inconvenient bit of information.

It would be great if someone in the military could "leak" why it is so easily kept quiet, as in the vicious fallout against any GI that dares press charges against a homo.

Close call for the APA, but it sounds as though their “Man/Boy Love” wing (or more likely, majority) prevailed.

President Trump’s biggest job, after stopping illegal immigration, will be to restore our military to readiness for war.

“Therapy success rates of 30% to 60 %.”

Correct. A person with same-sex attraction and homosexual tendencies is a person with trauma. If the trauma is healed, then the s.s. attraction goes away.

Why is it that the success is not 100%? Because the trauma is real and unbearable to address.

Why is it that the proofs of success rates are ignored? Because the leaders of the APA and psyche departments are similarly traumatized.

Same-sex attraction is a death wish. Why would anyone want it and defend it? The supporters act like victims, because when they were victimized and traumatized when kids.

Example: A boy pointed to the chocolate donut in the case at the donut shop. The father scolded the boy and screamed, “Chocolate is the worst choice!” If a boy hears that five or ten times, then he be attracted to dandy people of the same sex. Obvious.

The Lord heals by forgiveness and we all need to forgive the people who caused us trauma in our childhood.

The numbers were pretty high though. It suggested that over 100,000 men were sexually assaulted last year. That is just crazy.

Historically there is a very good and strategic reason gays were not allowed in the military. Guess we are going to relearn that reason thanks to brain dead dems that learn nothing from the past. Too bad many will be horribly harmed in the relearning process.

“I guess the science wasn’t settled on gay rape in the military!”

Oh. It is. Science says that heterosexual males have oppressed, well, everyone and if they get penetrated, it’s their own fault. In fact, they should thank the rapist for sharing his otherness with him and raising his consciousness.

Bump for later.

Do you have a good source for a summary article on the removal from DSM, one with lots of names, conferences, footnotes, that sort of thing?
