NEW ORLEANS (AP) — President Barrack Obama's plan to protect from deportation an estimated 5 million people living in the United States illegally has suffered another setback in court.
In a 2-1 decision, the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans upheld a Texas-based judge's injunction blocking the Obama administration's immigration initiative.
Republicans had criticized the plan as an illegal executive overreach when Obama announced it last November. Twenty-six states challenged the plan in court.

Who was the one judge that sided with the devil?
Obama's DOJ will obviously appeal the case. But it could take years before SCOTUS delivered a decision. In any case, it almost certainly wouldn't be resolved before Zero leaves office.
On the other hand, it has been reported that Obama met with the DHS leadership about ways to work around the expected Appeals Court decision.
In all, four courses of action were outlined. The favored ploy, evidently, was to grant amnesty to every illegal in the country via executive order.
Agreed! If we get a president with balls that'll do that the illegals will self deport.
And the administration will be sure they all vote before doing anything else.
Not sure why it would go to SCOTUS; the issue in question is not following administration policies in how new rules are created. The government didn’t follow their own rules, the injunction is justified until trial court can consider the issue, and the constant appeals are merely delaying the trial court.
SCOTUS would have to summarily set aside the injunction which is soundly based in the law. A pretty unlikely situation (then again, they summarily decided that the meaning of the word marriage was wrong and wrote a new meaning, so anything CAN happen with this court...)

If the Illegals, and their extended families, are allowed to stay (and come here), then there will be over 30 MILLION NEW DEMOCRATS.
So far, the ONLY CANDIDATE stating that every illegal must leave is Trump. Cruz, at least at this point, has simply implied that he’ll keep looking the other way...while they stay, have babies, and then simply wait for a government here to finally given them Amnesty.
Sure, Trump could do better on Kelo, and giving Hillary money...but if Trump does what he (and only he) PROMISES, then this victory in the 5th Circuit just might be repeated in the future, and without having to resort to a second Civil War to achieve that outcome.
Checkmate on Obama.....will take years until this gets to the high court.

Anyone care to guess which judge ruled IN FAVOR of Obama? Is it REALLY WORTH adding more of those judges simply because of where we stand on Kelo, versus where a certain Republican stands?
According to the article I read it will go back to Texas for more legal raggling before it’ll ever go to the Supreme Court. The article also said that the legislation will not be resolved before the traitor in chief leaves Washington.
I’d arrest every single one of them, then throw them back over the fence. On second thought, forget the arrest, just throw them all back over the fence and be done with them.
It’ll either be overturned on appeal or just outright ignored.

Semi-good news. The law is on our side. Unfortunately, Obama has a phone and a pen. So, he’s above the law.
