It's the very reason that the Media don't like giving Trump a wide tv shot of his rallies. They like illusions when reality does not fit what they're looking for. They know who is going to take it in the end. Most of the confidence is on Trump's side the rest of the candidates don't have it. They all see what's going on. :-)

I once helped organize a rally in Westwood, California.
We had 300 on our side with signs all fired up.
On the other side of the street were 20 folks who habitually park their posteriors there each week and pound on drums. You know the type.
One of the television stations came out and covered the twenty guys with drums, gave their views, and never showed our side with 15 times the people on camera.
In a 1.5 minute spot, they gave us about ten seconds and them the rest of the time.
You’re absolutely right. They view us as rabble because we don’t buy into the Left’s game plan.
