Evidently, the picture of her lying on the ground, has been removed - it’s not there.
We occasionally see women here now in that garb. We should consider them armed and keep our distance until that person has left where we are. It could also be a man in that garb, too. If I were a man terrorist, I would consider dressing like that since all the body is covered, even the hair can be covered, just the face showing.
Most of us think nothing like that could happen here, but the terrorists who tried to kill people at the Mohammad drawing contest, in Garland, Texas, is 30 min. from my house. Years ago, I was a school counselor in Garland so I know that area well.
It was an eye opener when that happened. I thought, “Not Garland, surely not.” Well, it was Garland and too close to my house. It made an impression on me to know none of us are safe anywhere now.
Did you ever think a time would come when we are not safe in this country?
Here you are. My caption would be: 'You've come along way, baby.'
Of course, we haven’t had to deal with these sort of attacks - we have seen them for years in Israel.
However, safety has often just been something of an illusion. We have always had some bad characters who have done nefarious and senseless violence. While associated with large cities, and criminal elements, murder and mayhem can and has happened in many small towns.
So we now have another style of violence an evil walking around, and it can happen anywhere - good to be alert and take precautions.
