I am a very unhappy camper about George Herbert Walker Bush. No one has done more damage from the inside the party than George Herbert Walker Bush and his Limousine Liberal, Rockefeller Republican, big monied buddies.
He squandered the Reagan Revolution. He CAUSED Bill Clinton by breaking his promise not to raise taxes.
After the sudden break down of the Soviet Union in the 1990s the countries that made up the Soviet Union and the Eastern European Warsaw Pact satellite counties were in very dire straits.
The economic dislocations created by the sudden breakdown created massive, severe economic hardships as industry and trade shut down seemingly over night and the breakdown of the old repressive regimes left a power and government vacuum that gave rise to chaos and lawlessness and organized crime families took control in many areas.
One way for the crime families to make money was to outright kidnap young women and sell them as sex slaves or force the girls to work for them as sex slaves. When kidnapping became impractical, the criminal gangs lured the desperate young women with promises of working as an au pair or governess for a European family or lured them with promises of modeling careers. Once the girls had left their native countries for the expected jobs as au pair or such, the criminals grabbed their passports and either sold them as sex slaves or pimped them themselves.
The conditions these young women endured were horrible and their life expectancy was very short. They were bought and sold on the streets of Europe and Great Britain while the official authorities and police looked the other way and did nothing.
Around 2006, several international organizations publicized the situation and put enormous pressure on Congress to pass legislation to fight to end the international traffic of these women
Hillary Clinton of course jumped on the band wagon and professed to be a leader of the movement to aid these oppressed women with typical Clinton media posturing and moral preening.
When the legislation came up for a vote in Congress, it was unexpectedly and inexplicably voted down. The man who had led the charge to get the legislation sponsored, written and put up for vote was devastated.
When he was interviewed on the Capitol Steps immediately after the vote, he was distraught and told the interviewer that he had learned form insiders that despite her public posturing in support of the anti sex slave trafficking, in private Hillary Clinton had worked behind the scenes to sabotage and torpedo the legislation and that Hillary had stabbed everyone who worked hard to put an end to the trafficking of sex slaves and that Hillary had especially stabbed the poor women caught up and victimized by the being kidnapped into sex slavery.
He stated that Hillary was not the friend to women that she pretended to be in public and that she had a dark side to herself that was hidden form the public.
The reporter was stunned by what the guy had to say and was obviously trying to cut the guy off and terminate the interview as quickly as possible.
Now we hear revelations that Bill Clinton had close ties to people in the sex trafficking trade and one of his closest friends and political supporters owned his very own sex slaves including one sex slave who became his favorite that he bought in Romania from her parents when she was and under age 15 year old child.
Kind of puts the candid statements made by that distraught Anti Sex -Slave Trafficking crusader in a new light
Yeah, that’s GHWB in a nutshell.
Yet the media will turn over every rock and question everyone within the city of Detroit to inquire about Ben Carson, but won’t touch the Clintons on anything. The Clintons pile the scandals so damn high one needs to board a rocket just to fly over them yet to the media the Clintons are as pure as the wind.
I just learned a couple days ago that GHWB and Jim Baker were all freaked out over the Israelis hitting the Iraqi nuclear reactor in 1981. Reagan was pleased (at least privately, it appears); they were not.
