Seemingly, if Christians saw Jesus obeying the Jewish Oral Law, as a Jew, as he does in some verses in the Christian Bible,they might also want to be Jewish.
Wouldn’t it be more desirable to imitate the original rather than to follow the words of those who came much after him?

Christianity began as a Jewish sect. There were no Gentiles at first. Later, when Gentiles converted, the Jewish leaders of Christianity had to decide whether Gentiles were required to convert to Judaism in order to be followers of Jesus.
The decision was against converting Gentiles to Judaism.
Today, Christianity has almost entirely abandoned its Jewish roots. It is almost as if Gentile Christians think Jews must abandon Judaism to be followers of Jesus.
It is tragically ironic. Early Christian leaders (who were Jewish) would abhor most of modern Christendom more than any pagan idol-worshipping religion.
God does not lie or break His promises. He will keep the covenants He made with Abraham, Moses, and David. He has not abandoned His people, Israel. He will save Israel from destruction, and will one day establish His reign over the earth from His throne in Jerusalem.

The moslems think their religion is the only true religion. Michelle thinks her religion is the only true religion. And (I hope) you think your religion is the only true religion. There is absolutely nothing shocking about any of this. The thing that doesn't make sense is the inane "all religions are equally valid" line.
What if I'm perfectly happy with my religion and don't see anything whatsoever attractive about other religions that I'd want to drop mine and adopt theirs?
The point is not that you are "happy" in your religion, but that you are right and she is wrong. Everyone being "happy" in his own religion would mean that there is no "true religion" at all.
Because she believes an event in HER religion is going to occur, which has nothing to do with Jews, then Jews have to convert to her religion to experience that event? Absolutely nuts. There--I said it. And I couldn't care less who doesn't like it.

A lot of Jews have accepted Jesus Christ as the Messiah. That is just the way it is because Jews are as free as everyone else to believe what they want to believe.
Michelle Bachmann is a sincere chrstian. She believes chrstianity is the only true religion for everyone and that everyone must "convert" in order to be "saved."
There is nothing the slightest bit surprising or scandalous in these opinions of hers. They are the plain, normal beliefs of every chrstian who believes chrstianity is the one true religion.
The notion that religion is merely a subjective adjunct of ethnoculture is a terrible error that has corrupted the entire world. Religion isn't like a national costume or an accent. It is like mathematics or science--abstractly, universally, and objectively true. Everyone thinks his is the one. Most are wrong, someone is right.
I am a Noachide. I believe chrstianity is wrong and contrary to the will of G-d. But I don't have a screaming fit when some sincere chrstian states that only chrstians are "saved." In fact, my understanding is that no chrstian (or observer of any other false religion) will make it into the World to Come. To do that one must accept the Noachide Laws and keep them. If I didn't believe that, I wouldn't be a Noachide at all.

Their religion is no good. Why aren't you telling them that instead of implying that there's a separate "one true religion" for everyone under the sun?
I'm a former chrstian and a Noachide, and I simply don't understand how any Orthodox Jew can not understand (however much he may disagree with) other religions that also believe they possess the exclusive truth. I'm a convert from chrstianity myself. Are you saying I'm no better off than I used to be?
Many Jews throughout history have killed themselves rather than convert, because conversion is a spiritual death.
