In all the stuff I’ve read about Cruz and what he plans to do .. I’ve never read anything regarding “Cruz letting all the illegals stay .. no questions ask”.

By granting them legal status, which would inevitably lead to citizenship anyway. Cruz has never changed his position on this. The bill he wanted to pass back then, declared he wanted to pass, is still the bill he supports today. We have had this debate before, several times in fact, but you still push these shameless lies.
It goes both ways...if Cruz has no stated plans to deport the Illegals or otherwise force (or very strongly encourage) them to leave (like Trump), why should anyone think Cruz be any different from Bush-43?
In other words, I’d love to think that Sarah Palin was ready to DEPORT ALL ILLEGALS that were found...but the best I ever heard from her was that “OUR IMMIGRATION SYSTEM IS BROKEN”...which can be argued, quite substantially, by people on our side that understand what the 1986 reforms actually meant.
Cruz may be the best on Illegals, and maybe he’s keeping that to himself. But, unfortunately, I’m not a mind reader, so I’m forced to take him at his (lack of) word.
All I know is he is the only candidate that has always been against amnesty. Not just for this political cycle.
I never voted for him. I was too young. Truth be told, I don’t know if I would’ve supported him in the primary. I don’t know enough about the other candidates in 76/80.
