G.H.W. Bush said the same thing as an aspiring President. I think it’s a nod to Hispanics—he’s not losing anything in saying it.

I supported Carson early on, but he’s since went full retard, it’s time to flush this turd.

I agree. Although Carson seems to harbor the belief that he is going to reform federal entitlement programs that would improve their economy and culture which is rather a doubtful prospect IMO.

“Nine...nine...nine”

“Er, I mean, statehood for Puerto Rico.”

“Um, I mean, statehood for Staten Island.”

“Whatever...I’m toast.”

That's what I keep sayin' ... and WHY I've predicted that Ben Carson will be polling single digits by Christmas 2015 ...

Nice guy ... but certainly a lousy "Conservative" ...

The thought just occurred to me, if the GOPe-Bush-Rubio-Kasisch-RINO-Hillary crowd wanted to "coerce-shame" the Republican Conservative candidates (Ted, Cruz, Donald Trump) ...

to support:

1) Citizenship for 15 million illegal Mexican immigrants

2) Soft on Second Amendment gun rights

3) Becoming "best friends" with Al Sharpton and the Black Lives Matter movement

4) Puerto Rico statehood (two automatics Democratic Senators for the next 100 years)

5) SPLIT the Tea Party Christian Evangelical vote 35/35/35 between Ted Cruz / Huckabee / Ben Carson

6) "Stealth Engagement" of the Democratic Party LGBT folks to "severely disrupt" the GOP Presidential Primaries to HELP Yeb Bush and Marco Rubio

... what better way than to "plant-fund" and inflate polling data for a WONDERFUL ...

(no criticism allowed) Black Medical Doctor (with a very big ego) ?

Would such a plan even be imagined ? "Nope"

Would such a plan even be possible ? "Nope"

Would such a plan even be planned and executed ? "Nope"

Would such a plan include a Hollywood Movie ("Gifted Hands") promoting (years in advance) the "compassionate Savior" of the Republican Party ? "Nope"

/sarcasm-off

He is really this dumb. He has no political savvy whatsoever.

Apparently, neither does his campaign staff, the people he hired.

‘Trump is in favor of DC statehood.’

Is this what you were talking about? It doesn’t read like much of an endorsement, if so.

‘Trump: “I would like to do whatever is good for the District of Columbia because I love the people. You know, it’s funny. I’ve really gotten to know the people, the representatives, and the mayor, and everybody. They’re really special people. They’re great. And they have a great feeling.”

Todd: “So you’re okay with either way? If they want statehood, you’re for statehood?”

Trump: I mean, people are talking about that. I’d look at it. I’d certainly look at it—”’

The population (3.5M) is big enough to justify consideration for statehood.

Anyone who thinks PR should be given US statehood should travel outside the tourist enclaves of Old San Juan and the all-inclusive resorts on the island perimeter.
