•Dozens of Yale students encircled a professor after he said he would not stop people from wearing offensive Halloween costumes •College master said he would not stand in the way of free speech and told offended people to 'look away' or challenge those wearing them •Video shows one young woman's fury at the professor, telling him to 'shut the f*** up' and that he should not sleep at night

This video shows the moment dozens of students encircled a Yale University official and screamed at him for sending an email telling them to ignore people dressed in offensive Halloween costumes.

Nicholas Christakis, the master of Silliman College at Yale, was surrounded after telling students to allow others to exercise free speech by wearing what they wanted on Halloween.

He was shouted down on Thursday as he tried to explain why he believed students should be able to wear what they want, with one young woman yelling at him and telling him to 'shut the f*** up'.

Universities need to start expelling these weaklings for being unsuited to and counterproductive for an educational environment.

A through the looking glass moment. When I was in school we would have been agitating to be able to wear whatever costume we wanted to not threatening someone who was saying it was ok.

“Universities need to start expelling these weaklings for being unsuited to and counterproductive for an educational environment.”

Huh? You do understand the “Universities” have been working overtime for decades precisely to CREATE these “weaklings”, don’t you? This is an Ivy League Sociology Prof being screamed at. You do understand that he is the very Engineer of this evil we are hurtling toward?

I went to a Baptist University, Furman, in the late ‘80s and missed most of that. The idea of a ‘trigger’ or ‘microagression’ would have generated peals of laughter.

“It is easier to stand in judgment about offensive costumes than it is to listen to one another in good faith,” Christakis wrote in an email to the News. “Intent matters, I believe, and it seems to me that one problem we have at Yale is a culture of shaming and fear, of which Halloween may end up the least of our concerns.”

Yale students protest email sent out OKing racist costumes

Christakis is probably a liberal himself.

He’s finding out that the charming scum he thinks are noble egalitarians are nothing but race baiting Stalinists, ready to use violence to silence people when they don’t like what they say.

Gosh, whatever happened to Mario Savio anyway?

Liberalism run wild. Liberal professors have been teaching these kids for years to be Commies now they feel weird about it having be shoved right back in their face. I saw online a few days ago a video of college students expressing their love of Socialism and how the Govt should be allowed to go into everyone’s bank account and determine if they have too much wealth

Single them out, arrest them, and expel them.

They’re thugs. Treat them like it. Call them on it. Punish them.

As Michael Savage says, modern liberals are rather illiberal.

The “liberals” of that day were liberal. The “liberals” of today are statist fascists. I want vomit like this expelled from my country or exterminated.
