I agree with Will's analysis, and shouting at him won't change the validity of his points.

Every now and then Will strays into what he used to be..a conservative pundit worthy of the title.

I wonder when he had his Reagan epiphany. Will's former mentor, William F. Buckley, never needed that epiphany.

Finally, does anyone still pay attention to Bill O'Reilly? I'm dubious. I stopped watching him, oh, say 15 years ago. It was obvious he would never tire giving Al Sharpton a forum. Bill O'Reilly is a waste of air.

He hasn’t had Sharpton on for a long time.

Will raises another good question. If, as O’Reilly claims, “Killing Reagan” is a laudatory book about Reagan, then why would the Reaganites try to suppress it, as O’Reilly also claims?

What's his shtick these days? Has he evolved into "worth a look?"

he sure wasn't in those days.

I haven't a clue. When I stopped watching his lame punditry, I haven't ever wasted 15 seconds paying any attention.

I don't know what he could possibly write that would interest me enough to discover it.

But Will devastatingly points out the contradiction between those two claims.

Bill claims those in question are only interested in the deification of Reagan. Maybe there is something to that.

On the other hand, WIll doesn't give a hoot about Conservatives, it's just an opportunity for him to get his know-it-all on. And he's had a real rough time lately having to suck up the Trump reality, his super secret inside info on Walker being a shoe in in Iowa immediately evaporating, and now having to tolerate a public berating by the likes of O'Reilly. The expression on his face said it all.
