It is just the schools drama club doing their scenes from “Les Miserables”.

I know, really? They become unglued over meaningless things and turn a blind eye to real horrific crimes.

The white working class is the only demographic in the country with increasing mortality rates, actually approaching epidemic levels.

When will that walk out occur ?

These kids remind me of my late, great cocker spaniel who was once abused by a gas station attendant. (Remember those?) Every time we went to a gas station, she would go berserk, barking furiously & jumping around in the car. It was funny to watch. Of course, this always made the gas station attendants want to tease her more.

While I condemn racism, I always felt that demonstrations in general were for losers, the kind of person who has a chip on his/her shoulder. What do they even accomplish? These kids just made themselves look like a bunch of hysterics. True strength is ignoring the racist/sexist/homophobic (fill in the blank) posts.

I am also by nature hypersensitive, where my feelings get bruised easily or events misconstrued. Fortunately a former roommate (she was British, so maybe that explains it) knocked some sense into me: “If everything in life is going to upset you, you’re in bad shape.”

This doesn’t give anyone license to offense or abuse, but thanks to her I realized that overreacting to the slightest situation was only going to reflect on me in an even worse way.

I think the problem is that these kids live in an insulated liberal bubble and any small bit of reality or extreme speech makes them go bonkers.

Do these children truly believe that the KKK is a significant problem for American blacks in 2015?

It is very easy and safe to oppose fantasy evil.

From a note that used bad words?

This is just sad. So very, very sad.

Nah if you drop a nuke on Berkley, the fall out would then drift across the country and that wouldn’t be good for the country either. Need to drop something that will just take out carbon life forms. Or better yet put a gigantic wall around the city and tell its because of global warming that the wall is necessary to keep the hot air they produce from escaping.

“A racist message posted to a computer at Berkeley High School set off a 2,000-student walkout and protest Thursday.

A student at the school admitted to posting the message, which referred to the Ku Klux Klan, used derogatory language related to African Americans and threatened a “public lynching” on Dec. 9, officials said. The student, whose name was not released, acknowledged creating the post in a statement to school officials, said Berkeley school district spokesman Mark Coplan.

“We’ve had success with the investigation,” Coplan said. “They have identified the individual student involved.” There was no immediate word on what disciplinary action the school would pursue.”

We’ll see how this turns out. I have my suspicions.
