The mobile killing machine â dubbed the 'Blazing Sun' â was sent to Syria last month as the Russian president stepped up his mission to obliterate ISIS.
And the two-minute clip, released by the Syrian army, shows the fearsome weapon in action against the terror group for the first time.
It was fired at ISIS positions in the mountains in the north-east of Latakia, Syria's main port city.

The weapon â also known as the TOS-1A â is thought to be suited to mountain areas and other confined environments such as bunkers and tunnels.
It was first used during the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in 1988 but only made its public debut during the Second Chechen War in 1999.

Oh how you tease ;)
The first volley looked like white phosphorous (Willy Pete), nasty stuff! When the bursting charge explodes it throws chunks of WP dispersed around the target area, white phosphorous ignites when exposed to air and leaves a fluffy white smoke trail in flight. The smoke is phosphorous pent-oxide and should not be inhaled. If the burning WP hits you it will burn clean to the bone.
The following strikes didn't display the pent-oxide smoke trails and may very well have been napalm.

No concern for deforestation or the carbon footprint, I for one am outraged.
I never read things written in all-caps. It shows an ignorance and possible fanaticism that stops the post dead in its tracks.

Yes. behind every all-caps post lies an unhinged mind. It never fails. I avoid them.
