The Oregonian is now running weekly articles slamming Christians. Remember, the Communist persecution of Christians started in the press.

I don’t believe it. This sounds like a conclusion first, study second piece of work.

The key to the study is the ability to judge who is in which group.

Big difference between someone who is “religious” and someone who has realized their need for a savior, believed in Jesus and is living for him.

Consider the source. No need for a BSometer. If it comes out of Ora-gone it is the liberal slant, period.
Sadly those dopes start to believe and soon are parroting the propaganda.

total and complete BS
look at the publicly available information on just about any liberal democrat and you will find they give almost NOTHING to charity. And just the opposite is true of conservative Republicans.

We actually have a slightly larger study from an organization that uses real actual money (or at least Federal Resrve Notes), it’s called the Internal Revenue Service. It has been repeatedly documented that religious people on average are far more generous.

I know we spend time warning my niece about how counterproductive it can be to be nice to everyone. From my life experience, a lot of people really mean you harm - especially atheists.

They do not know what they are talking about. They have as much credibility as CNBC does with Christians/Conservatives.
The stingy ones are on the left... the liberals only want to give freebies for votes, with someone else’s money.

A new study in the journal Current Biology found children in religious households are significantly less generous than their non-religious peers. . . . .Americans overwhelmingly elect Christian representatives, and they distrust atheists. So I guess this study will be useful if and when we start electing children to office. On second thought, maybe not.

There are similar beliefs in Buddhism where great wealth portends an unfortunate next life and poverty of the strictest sort is supposed to be part of the life of the Monks.
Perhaps this so called study is impacted by Muslim lack of charity for non believers.

A tithe of my income goes to church every year, and that is on top of the personal causes I support. And, yet this study claims I am among the least generous ?!?! Who are you going to believe, a hateful godless athiest journalist or your own eyes? So stupid it burns.

According to all studies before the recent anti-Christian agenda, Christians were found to be much more generous than their secularist peers at all age levels. I do not believe this study.
