Former American President George HW Bush has publicly criticized Dick Cheney and Donald H Rumsfeld, key members of his son's administration, in a biography due out next week.
Mr Cheney, Mr Bush said, built "his own empire" and Mr Rumsfeld "served the president badly," US media report.
Mr Bush also called Mr Rumsfeld "an arrogant fellow" with "swagger".

“I am no fan of the Bushes but worrying about NWO or the Trilateral Commission, etc is the equivalent of worrying about Bigfoot!”
Seriously? Why do you think all of these policies conservatives hate are being pushed through? Amnesty, the debt, breaking down of national borders.
Pull your head out
We did. And we helped set the future in motion. We couldn’t have known, but we did. Today with the internet, people don’t have that excuse.
But we still made a mistake. all we can do as acknowledge that for what ever reason, it was a mistake, and not repeat it.
Ugly truth: Sometimes the guy with the sammich board isn’t a tinfoiler. Sometimes hes the one eyed man in the kingdom of the blind.
Sometimes things are what they seem and people are too proud or too scared of accepting it.
Nothing like watching geezers do a circular firing squad.
HW Bush? Loser. Bagman for the Saudis.
W? Ditto. See HW Bush.
Rumsfeld? Where the hell is he these days?
Cheney? Ditto Rumsfeld comments.
Only thing this article proves is there is one helluva war going on inside the GOP establishment.
Rush totally destroyed this BS today.
Bill Gates recently said socialism was the answer to global warming, that capitalism couldn’t fix it.
Bill Gates is a Bilderberg elite who has also said the earths population needs to be reduced by 75%.
I will never understand why supposed ‘conservatives’ AKA The people who think logically, can take two very related and very real things, such as the existence of NWO groups calling for a thing thing, A member and powerbroker on the world stage forwarding exactly the thing that the NWO group calls for, and say...
Tin Foil! Bigfoot! Nutcase prepper doomdsay!
Some people just naturally don’t have a survival instinct I guess.
Yep you’ve convinced me I’m wrong!
I seem to recall it had something to do with a South Carolina primary where McCain decided Bush had pulled a fast one. After that the Bushes became McCain favorite target among REPUBs. and the feeling became mutual.
Do the Bushes really get along with anyone other than each other and the Clintons.
It was a reference to a charge made by one Gary Sick, who alleged that during the 1980 presidential race, Reagan running-mate Bush took an SR-71 to meet with the Iranians to “discuss” not releasing the American hostages until after election.
Yeah I remember. I thought his name fit the situation.
Still the A12 was a 1 sweater. The guys who flew it have told me the were ‘busy’ flying three times the speed of sound, taking pictures, serving Bush lunch & drinks.
The last part was a joke.
Those who get a Presidential sallary for the rest of their lives as if they were part of Buckingham palace tend to be traitors whomeventually ask us to also pay off the barbabrians they way we pay them.
One of my big problems with Bush (W) was that he never pardoned Scooter Libby, the victim of a corrupt prosecutor and a feral news media. To me, Bush’s inaction was inexcusable.
we would be over and done with this radical islam BS by now , if GW Bush had played his cards right . But he was getting coached by his dad and his dad was always off the mark .
The second he turned the war over to the MSM and DNC it was lost. I’m sure dear old dad had plenty to do with that.
I’m conflicted to a point. A small point but still. W never struck me as what he turned into. When he stood there in NYC I think he really meant it and was fully intent to blast Jihadi Muslims to hell. Just because he isn’t that good an actor. But something changed his tune and fast. And in hindsight a HUGE way.
Dad? Saudis? Euro sweet deals? I dunno. All of them? Probably. But change he did.
I TOTALLY agree. That is yet another example of how he failed to defend himself, his allies, his administration, and the many people that voted him. He should have pardoned him without a single shred of regret.
I have a question.
How does Obama fit in?
Is he part of the Bush/Clinton thing or is he something entirely different?
I know Kennedy was part of what pushed Obama onto the national stage but I don’t know if they are all in the same “family”
My opinion is that once one becomes President, it’s an old boys club and you are one of the boys regardless of party. Because ultimately there is but one party. The Elite.
Reagan broke that mold partly because of his health and partly because he was always hared by the club.
There is not a doubt in my mind that upon election, agroup of leaders and ‘advisors’ sits the newb down and says “OK here is how things actually are. Here;s the plan in the general sense and here’s the goal. We are going to do X to meet that goal. You need to do Y so we get to Z. Whatever you need to do in order to get to Z is good with us. But get to Z.”
After their terms end, these guys literally are part of a small club anyway because of the nature of the job. So it’s not surprising they gravitate to each other. Just human nature really when you consider it from that aspect. We all need someone to talk to. And because of NATSEC, there aren’t a lot of people they CAN talk to, to begin with.
But ultimately they are most often going in the front door as elitists to begin with so it’s no doubt they come out even worse.
Thanks. Makes sense.
