Former American President George HW Bush has publicly criticized Dick Cheney and Donald H Rumsfeld, key members of his son's administration, in a biography due out next week.
Mr Cheney, Mr Bush said, built "his own empire" and Mr Rumsfeld "served the president badly," US media report.
Mr Bush also called Mr Rumsfeld "an arrogant fellow" with "swagger".

At least George W. Bush has the sense to distance himself from his dad's drivel . H.W. has jumped out of too many planes . Note to ex-Presidents : don't wait until senility and dementia set in before you write your memoir .

Makes me wonder who his ghost writer was?

Cheney and Rumsfeld made one critical error. Attaching themselves to a Bush.
God how I regret my support.

Why is he doing this now? Does GHWB think disavowing those who helped W. decide to invade Iraq will help his son Jeb gain some traction? I don’t think it will. These are counterproductive remarks better kept at the dinner table or the private smoking rooms.

The biography’s author is Jon Meacham.

Actually, this is the REAL NWO Bush, not the one he hid for decades. His fawning and slobbering over Clinto, and now fawning and slobbering over Obama is indicative of both his character, and his global socialism.

This is sad but not surprising. Remember how badly the Bush staff trashed Reagan in a press whisper campaign after Bush won in 1988.

Typical that the Bushes criticize REPUBs but not RATS. For all the animosity between the Bushes and McCain that is one thing they have in common (they love those RATS).

I always wondered about that. Why was there so much animosity between two people who — at least politically — were essentially 2 peas in a pod.
