It’s a terrible thing to see someone’s meticulously crafted and fortified delusion be ruined by something as trivial as reality.
I found the following yesterday and am finding that it is a multi-purpose insight into the indifference of defective humans under all sort of scenarios.
From the dogmatic "climate change" fraudsters to all the well-meaning, but suicidal Mr. Lakins of the world.
The dark side of human nature, when unopposed, always prevails. Unfortunately, never leaving a clue or a trace to witness that cruel indifference of nature:
"Once people accept an assumption about how reality works, they base their life on it. It is very hard for people who have invested their life on a false assumption to change that assumption. Most would rather face death and destruction instead of admitting that their whole life was based on a lie."

ding ding ding...we have a winner!
My wife was going to volunteer to do work in a very bad part of town this week. I told her it was not a good choice and she seemed unimpressed with my efforts.
Then I told her this guy’s story.
She got it—called the charity and said she wasn’t going.
So—I guess I should be grateful to this guy. His stupidity may have saved a life.
what a fantastic line...short , consise and to the point.
i might borrow this if you dont mind?
Borrow, hell, I’m stealing it ð
