SBC has been infiltrated a lot IMHO.
Wife & I left one that had been preaching nothing but Rick Warren nonsense. And it was SBC....
This was not endorsed by the SBC. The SBC broke ties with a church at their annual convention, because the church had voted to embrace homosexual marriage.
The "Purpose Driven" nonsense has infiltrated a LOT of Evangelical churches. My mom's was no different.
It's getting to be like a mine field out there, like nothing I've ever seen before. Even in a large city, it's hard to find a thoroughly biblically-based church anymore. Very disheartening.
