Usually these liberal pollsters who do these national polls can be and are being very selective about who they poll. As I understand it in this particular one they only polled 400 people nationwide, which is an average of 8 people polled per state. Many state polls have 400 people polled or more. NBC/WSJ could have skipped states in the South or wherever that they believe won’t get them to their desired outcome and poll the areas that do. A pollster may know people about how they’ll vote where they could re-poll those same people again. Countless ways they could have skewed this poll and still call it a “legit” poll, but it will still be a dishonest poll.
It’s a Rupert Murdock poll. Is there any doubt that Murdock’s Fox mouthpiece ME-Gyn Kelly is reporting this with glee?
The Rasmussen poll from this past Friday which shows Trump 31% to 20% for Carson is not being mentioned on Fox and not being used by Real Clear Politics for their averaging of polls. Inspite of it being a poll of 1,000 republican voters, versus 400 for the new NBC poll. That should tell anyone it’s not legit. Trump is also leading Carson in all states except Iowa, which is never mentioned on Fox when discussing polls, which is strange because those are the ones that matter.
