My theory is it’s a scam meant to introduce Stalinesque communism through the back door. They knew it would raise the healthcare costs - and it will go higher until very few people can afford it - at the same time they raise the fines to astronomical levels. I believe already they’ve raised it 400%. Then they do away with the law saying the IRS cannot use liens/possessions of your property to satisfy those fines. So you’ll find people owing tens of thousands in these fines and walla.. *poof*.. we have collectivism, redistribution of wealth. Goodbye house, car, property, the government now owns everything and will see fit as to who owns what.
The best way to reduce the premiums is to reduce the required benefits significantly.
