I thought a “Junk” was a Chinese boat. Come to find out it is a plane.
Way too small. More like a regional jet.
How that passes for good reporting is beyond me. At least have someone familiar with cockpits and flight controls identify the object before writing the caption. My young grandson could identify it as a “joy stick” and he knows little about flying.
A scaled down Seven-Five-Seven-san.
IMO, At least they are copying a great plane. I wouldn’t set foot on one though.
No, this is much smaller.
Did some work on the ARJ-21 years ago. The whole avionics deck was designed and made here in the US. The wings are Ukrainian. The rumor I heard is that whole project started when Ukraine sold them a bunch of surplus wings they made for a cancelled project. The whole project was training wheels for China. Wings from Ukraine, Engines from GE, fight computers and displays from Rockwell, Fuselage locally made but ripped off design and using MD tooling.
Looks more like a A320 rip-off.
I was actually referring to the style of the plane, especially the nose; same drooped-down shape and look at the shape and arrangement of the windshield glass. Also the shape of the wing tips.
A new take on Sizzling Happy Family.
Not stolen. Sold. I saw a chart where more than 80% of the plane’s systems come from the West mainly the US.
