To the many gullible souls out there who truly think that Barack Obama is "legacy building" in his all-out assault on America, I implore you to bow out of the conversation because you are not seeing clearly.
The term legacy carries positive connotations of something bequeath that is to the receiver's benefit. Everything that Barack Obama does is calculated to destroy America, which he despises. This man no more cares about legacy than he fears being properly prosecuted by the white political leaders whose responsibility it is to remove him from office.
I focus on white leaders, because whites are still in the majority and they fill the majority of political offices. If the majority of political operatives were of some other ethnicity, I would lodge my complaint against that group. Ethnicity is an issue only because Obama is half-black and he uses that fact to intimidate guilt-conflicted white people. Otherwise, he would have been impeached and likely in prison for treason by now.
Barack Obama's sole aim has been, since he first entered politics and continues as he winds down this presidency, the complete destruction of America as it was founded.
It is an insult to the intelligence of all Americans who must listen to elitist pundits on Fox news and elsewhere, and political drones in either party endeavor to make Obama's behavior fit a pattern of normalcy. Attributing his destructive policies to "legacy building" is either self-delusion on the part of the people who make that claim or cowardliness.

I agree. Rush keeps saying this. Obama is, fundamentally, a hater. Bill Clinton wanted a legacy, and has his resentments but is not a hater.

I don’t see so many people writing articles anymore that start out: “If Obama really wants to increase employment...” or “If Obama really wants to defeat the terrorists...” he will do X, Y, and Z.
Dinesh D’Souza talked about how such people—usually conservatives—were missing the elephant: Obama hates America and was put in the White House to end America.
The last people to figure out that Obama’s mission is to end America are those who still don’t understand that the purpose of the Democrat party is to end America. (And the GOPe is bought and/or blackmailed.)

My friends, this the very first time I have read an article that so absolutely correctly points out what I have been screaming to bill o and all of them! They all start any conversation about the radical from the totally false premise that he cares about the country but just does these wrong headed very questionable things for some mysterious reason. No one said that a “legacy” has to be positive.
I think you’re misunderstanding what Rush is saying.
His point of view is essentially that anyone who serves as POTUS is in a historical position and that, therefore, anyone in that position thinks about what will be written about them in the history books.
His point is also that just about anyone who pursues this path in life has at least a pretty large ego and cares what people are saying about them (not all, but most, and especially those on the Dem side who are more often guided by self-love rather than love-of-country).
Rush does say that Obama is concerned about his legacy — in this regard. But he is also very clear that Obama’s perspective is that, as the nation’s “first black president,” and with the RINOs have essentially neutered themselves and refuse to stand up to Obama lest the state-run media call them racists and the history books sully their legacy with such claims (exactly what will be done if Ms. Benghazi becomes POTUS but using gender as the fulcrum), that what Obama will do in his remaining time in office is ram this country as far leftward as possible.
As a fascist and a narcissist, Obama truly believes that if he can turn this country into the USSA, the leftists that write the history books will portray his “legacy” with an angelic aura.
If Hillary is in the White House it’ll be like “Obama legacy? Wait till they get a load of my legacy.”

The author is incorrect in one aspect, and unfortunately it ruins the piece, which otherwise actually appears quite lucid.
What the author is missing is that legacy is a concept that applies to only the legacy-seeker's viewpoint. The term, as applied to Bubba Clinton, assumes an American-centric viewpoint. That assumption is not universally valid, and is the reason why I firmly believe that Obama is feathering his legacy bed, when looked at from his anti-American perspective.

We can have a well reasoned discussion without you sticking your fingers in your ears and yelling LA LA LA LA.
We know he’s destroying the country. But he is also concerned about his legacy. That’s what drives the narcissist side of himself. That’s why he oversaw two alleged autobiographies (probably fictional biographies written by a ghost writer) at such a young age and with “0” accomplishments. That is part of his legacy and was manipulated to help pave the way for his political career and the legacy he would create as the president who turned the USA into the USSA.
