What do you figure this event will be? How many activists will show up? Will there be new laws preventing such events in the future? Inquiring minds want to know.

IMO this event will be sparsely attended. Dr. Wills is attempting to educate the public about the truth of the CBF. The race of affirmative action, liberals, MSM, progressives, socialists and communists don’t want anyone injecting truth into the narrative they are promoting.

I wonder if the lecture will be put on YouTube or some other web source.

I typically don’t care about the Confederate flag.
But the liberals have shown that removing it from public “endorsements” isn’t enough, from seeking to punish people who have any public display of it (and death of Anthony Hervey, a black Mississippi man known for sporting the Confederate flag) to demanding ALL monuments get erased ... it becomes an excuse to remove all history.
And I can’t have any sympathy for people attacking the Confederate flag as racist while simultaneously saying we have to ban American flag shirts in schools because it could inflame racist violence by Hispanics ...
This is turning into the Muslim saying “first the Saturday people, then the Sunday people”. First go after the smaller group, and then go after the bigger one.

Just on that basis, I’d say leave the Confederate flag alone because hundred year old displays didn’t get in the way of 1960s progress, but the time and money to rip it out today doesn’t help ANY kids in the future.
And because it won’t make a difference, then will come the calls to remove everything pro-US, as well, because that’s already been labeled racist, too.
