I’m all for it. I hope he’s looking at a bigger picture.
Yes, the higher-ups need to be canned. The the grossly incompetent lower staffing is just as bad. Many are lazy and just plain worthless. I’m suspecting much of the professional staff if they worked in civilian hospitals would be subject to many malpractice suits.
The VA was at it’s best just before Clinton. Local hospitals and very competent medical and support staffing. That started to change by eliminating many local hospitals. Where I live, I’d have to drive 300 miles, if they every approve my going on 6 month application for medical service, of which they said I was eligible for as a war vet.
Right now, the whole system sucks.
And to think for decades government has rolled out the red carpet for millions of illegals who’ve choked off our doctors offices, hospitals clinics etc., all at tax payer expense!
This should be enough to outrage every American.
Trump has definitely entered into a new level of support for the vets not seen before. Bless him!

As long as Feinsteins husband Blomb doesnt get the contract to sell them off....like he made big bucks with an exclusive right to sell off the surplus post offices.
I wouldn’t call it meaningless. It’s an option veterans don’t currently have if they’re under 65.
While I agree that reimbursement rates should be adjusted to better reflect market realities, many private sector hospitals and clinics DO still accept Medicare.
There should be a balance, lower medical costs in the private sector and a more generous reimbursement menu from government AND private insurance.

It’s an outrage to THIS American....when I think of my uncles, family friends and friends. It just sickens me to no end.
Again, thank God for Trump who is the ONLY one bringing the much needed attention to, standing up for and promising to take care of our dear vets.

I second that.
The official Trump website is so clean and uncluttered. It is a thing of beauty to see his positions begin to get posted there with clarity and precision. No wishy-washy political jargon. No insulting political cliches and empty promises that can never be fulfilled.
None of that.
Instead, Trump lays out what his administration will do in plain English and crisp bullet points.
Additional positions will be posted there in future weeks.
I like it overall. Introducing competition by allowing veterans to be covered by a new enhanced Choice Plan if they go outside the system is what strikes me as a very positive change.

Take Dallas Parkland Hospital, just one single hospital in the U.S, where they deliver 10,000 anchor babies per year, at tax payer expense, while our veterans are getting shortchanged?
To be honest, I’m surprised America has put up with this outrage for so long. This is flat out fraud and betrayal on an epic scale IMO.
That’s why I say ANY licensed MD.
