Whatever is causing this, it’s got to be corrected as it’s driving me, along with I would guess all other Freepers, nutz big time. Enough! Where’s the fix?
I thought it was a glitch in my computer—apparently others are having the same problem.
As far as I know the only way is to recognize and replace the characters (apostrophe, comma, quotes, dash, and some others) in an article with ASCI characters (those on your keyboard). It also may have something to do with the browser used; IE used to be a huge culprit when using it as the source for pasting text.
It seems many are still in search of the kinder gentler wishy washy candidates that lose elections to the criminal element. What ever you may think or feel about trump he is roasting the do nothing in bed with the rats GOP drek we voted for, the PC crowd, the liberal scum we call the media and the supporters of socialism and thier sucklings. Religious denomination voters almost always look at the small pictures instead of the larger ones, hence the rats win and we lose.....again!
The only easy one is on your keyboard....go to the link direct. Then when you come back, you've also given FR another click.
I've looked for an explanation or a thread from management and/or the moderators as to what's going on, and what's being done about it...but I have't seen anything.
I don't care how long a fix takes, I don't ask for lengthy technical explanations (I probably wouldn't understand them, anyhow). I would just like a word or two what the situation is....and if the situation can't be remedied at the moment, that's okay, too.
But it's getting to the point that any message of progress (or comfort) from the PTB would be appreciated by us users....and it's rather long overdue.
