Sundance is writing political commentary and chooses for whatever reason to use a pen name.
Madison, Hamilton and Jay wrote political commentary we know as the Federalist Papers. And for whatever reason they didn’t use their real names. They signed them with the pen name Publius.
Now maybe there was someone at the time who dismissed the Federalist Papers with the complaint that Publius didn’t use his real name. If so that complainer (undoubtedly the progenitor of the humblegunner clan) was a fool who focused on minutia. And if that critic signed his complaint with a pen name he was doubly a fool, condemned by his own complaint about pen names.
Excellent.
