Very easy to kill with a set of these things ....
Approaching from the side, you slam one stick into the target’s throat, while crossing your hand to catch and lever the other stick as it swings behind the neck ... Then, with arms crossed you lever pull the two sticks together, using the victim’s neck as a fulcrum. This action instantly crushes the trachea and the the atlas-axis vertebrae. (You will hear a hollow clunk sound as the vertebrae crush and collapse.) Death is almost instantaneous.
These cops are idiots for using the device rather than a night stick ... and they are setting themselves up for lawsuits.
Well, I don’t imagine that they would bind anyone’s throat with them, but gripping someone’s wrist or ankle with nunchaku is very effective in the same way.
The pressure applied to those bony areas would be ridiculously painful. A cop would have complete control of a suspect with minimal effort.
