I’ve been able to effectively utilize nunchaku since I was seven years old. And, I have YET to whack myself in the head or any other bodily areas that would disable my fighting stance.
The secret is knowing where each section of launched stick id going to go, and knowing that that stick used to impact one’s opponent will, “BOUNCE,’ and how to recover from it.
Nunchaku is a weapon that screams discipline.
Dual nunchaku is an all together different animal.
Done correctly, it is a very beautiful martial art.
