Truthfully I saw the clip, and I don’t think she was saying anything about race, or saying hard worker is racist. In fact she never mentioned race at all. I took it to mean that any politician, or someone working in a white collar job isn’t working nearly as hard as someone in a menial job. Yeah, she mentioned she keeps a picture of slaves picking cotton, but it could just as easily been a roofer or a guy hanging sheetrock. I’ve actually said similar things myself, but it was a strange way she chose to inject it into the conversation and threw in a bunch of lefties talking points. But she didn’t say it was racist.
I have been accused of not working hard because I had a white collar job. It is not true, mental work is just as hard as physical work and can be much more stressful.
She may not have said it directly, but in my mind, that’s what she was implying.
