“...a pair of otter earmuffs which I still wear 30 years later...”
I’ve seen pictures of otters covering their ears with their paws, but never one wearing ear muffs.

OMG! a semi-crippled/”partially-differently-enabled” guy with an oxygen bottle!???????
CALL UP THE ARMY! America is in DANGER!!!!!!!!

We’ve done the defense against Passion Fruit, why can’t we do a pointed stick defense for a change?
He got more data correct than most leftist media.
but..
Guy walking around. was not a Dealer (that is defined in fed law) but a private seller (also defined in fed law)
The one they showed at least 1 of the guns was not even a firearm under Fed law (pre 1898)
The self serving dealer that charges $10 to do a nics call is a bit of a jerk. If in a whole day at a large show they saw only 5 private sellers (know knowing really unless they asked every person at every table they were not having much of his business “stolen”
And high capacity to boot!
Sounds like good times to me. :-)
Wow! now, that's some really useful information. Now if the SHTF, I can confidently put away my rifles and shotguns -- and drag out my shiny little .25 ACP LW Seecamp -- and know that I'm the deadliest old coot around! </SARCASM>
Dumb@$$3d, city-bred CNN "journalist"!!!
The thing I don’t like about gun shows is all the people selling junk that has nothing to do with guns.
kalashnikitty
People buy/sell/trade guns and accessories.
It’s not rocket science, despite all the pseudo-clever rhetoric of the author of this junk piece.
Who is he even writing this too? Anyone that wants to know what goes on at a show can pay their 7 bucks and go see. It ain’t some arcane mystery.
“The thing I dont like about gun shows is all the people selling junk that has nothing to do with guns.”
I’ll tell you what I don’t like about gun shows - young women trying to push baby strollers down narrow crowded aisles. I’m fine with the young men bringing their girlfriends in tow, but strollers are a nuisance.
On the surface I agree wit you, but, I run a Trail Life USA boys adventure troop. We traded some of our time helping set up and knock down tables at a local gun show in exchange for being allowed to set up a table and sell candy bars as a fund raiser.
It was fun and we sold out to a crowd of like minded people.
Something for the ladies.
O the inanity!
Gun shows are America. CNN is New York City.
I still haven’t figured out the infamous “gun show loophole”
I keep looking at every show and can’t seem to find it.
There are no vendors selling loopholes.
When loopholes are outlawed, only outlaws will have loopholes.
