Well, we have only five people with any on-the-job experience - Carter, Bush 41, Clinton, Bush 43, and Obama. Only two of those (Carter and Bush 41) are still eligible.
I'm sure it's not easy for anyone.
I find it particularly disturbing that for the second election in a row we have someone from a cult running for the Presidency.
Given the example of those five I'd druther take someone brand-spankin' new.
Anything to distract Trump from talking about the illegal invaders will suffice. Trying to get him off his game.
Perhaps making up polls to push Trump into some kind of mistake and using Carson to prompt a response the ruling class can use to label the Don....

I guess I’m guilty of only believing the polls I agree with, but I absolutely cannot believe that Ben Carson is leading Trump nationally.
He’s got good positions on a lot of things and he’s got that low-key thing going for him with people who don’t like Trump’s bombast.
But I just cannot envision him as president, nor can I envision him in a one on one debate with Hillary.

The point is we do not need another Barack Obama.
I have to agree as well. Love the guy, I just can’t imagine how he could run a government. No experience running any large entity. My other thing with Carson is I don’t know that he’s mean enough. Gotta be mean like Trump to scare off all the bullies in the world.
Nobody can get on the job training as President. If you’re in the office, it’s yours.
But Trump has years of history in running things, in hiring people, in making decisions, in getting good people to accomplish his goals ... and... he’s been incredibly successful at it.
Pretty good resume if you ask me.
All Carson has done is save peoples' lives, while Joe has apparently actually killed Someone.
Neither do the current lawmakers, whether Democrat or Republican. In addition, Ben Carson is head and shoulders above President Obama in terms of intelligence, common sense, and leadership ability.
I have little doubt that Ben Carson will be able to select staff to help him to hit the ground running when he is elected POTUS.
Ah, just reminding you and everyone, the bottom-line issue is NOT prior experience as a pol. The issue is that they are operating from a vastly different fundamental ethic.
Obama is a flat-out Socialist groomed in communism, godlessness, and self-serving implementation of Cloward/Piven strategies for bringing down historical American values, without proven diligent practical scholarship, and whose past is not open for examination.
Carson is a highly motivated committed Christian, a well-informed student of both history and medical science, with a long-standing record of effectiveness in commanding both self and others to address challenges never before overcome. I think his decisions would be based on the ability to analytically judge both character and proficiency, with truth and honor of this country at the fore. His manner gives me confidence that he is trustworthy enough the he himself knows whether or not he can do the job sanely, and has convinced experienced statesmen to support him. His past is completely open to examination, nothing to hide. And unlike pols of the Biden/ obama/Clinton ilk, he like Trumphas been able to make his way in the world outside of politics.
Ben Carson is an admirable man. He is a leader. I like having his voice of reason out there, I don’t agree with all his positions. I won’t be supporting him over Cruz. Cruz is my number 1.
Morning Joe, a line reader (someone with the appearance of intelligence due to the preconceived belief because of the ability to read a teleprompter) giving his opinion like it means something.
The likes of Carson or Trump are like shining daylight on Dracula ( the media/democratparty/establishment republicrats).
Who knows what will happen. I am looking to have one of these two win so we can drive a stake through Dracula’s heart.
And the current bunch in office right now do know how to run a govt?
There’s a Pac that claims they are conservative that has spent a bunch of money running negative ads against Trump, and they are claiming victory in Trump’s numbers allegedly falling. They are planning to go to other primary states and spend money on ads there to accomplish the same thing.
So we’re saying that it doesn’t take a brain surgeon to run the country?
Sure - government is supposed to be used to eliminate your political opposition (in the mind of a leftist).
What’s not to understand?
I agree also. Carson scores high on likability but that does not make him make him a good president. He lacks crucial experience. His positions on illegal aliens and guns are contrary to what’s best for this country.
