Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump was asked about his deteriorating lead in the polls to his opponent, former Johns Hopkins neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson. Trump said that now Carson was a front-runner, it was likely he would face more scrutiny and that “a lot of things will come out” about Carson’s past.

I read a Guardian article that mentions this, and other cases. I notice that in all these cases, only the plaintiff’s side is given. I don’t see what Dr. Carson’s defense might have been. I also saw that in several cases, he was taking cases who had experienced failure with other doctors. In other words, he was taking other doctor’s rejects.
I also read that he performed about up to 500 surgeries per year, three times the rate typical for other neurosurgeons. Yet, his rate of mm alpractice suits per year was about average. That means, he had the same number of malpractice suits for three times the number of operations. This is bad? This is “information that will come about him??” That he had one third the rate of malpractice suits as others??
My concern is that Dr Carson’s skill set is non-existent to be President. Other than the normal diety complex suffered by 100% of Doctors he is patently unqualified for mayor.
So is trump.
I’m voting for Cruz, who actually is qualified to be president.

I'd also like to see SCOTUS reverse that ruling, it'd go a long way toward restoring faith in at least the judicial branch. IMHO in order for that to happen, there'd have to be little danger of abortion being unreservedly criminalized by the states.

The biggest thing that is bothering me BIG TIME right now is Carsons’ affiliation with SHARPTON and his references to Farrakhan. The media ignores it. Is it something to ignore, (to me no, but I just can’t tell anymore) or will Trump flush it out later on? That is a big shocker for anyone following him to swallow. I don’t even follow him but when I saw this, that was it for me. When I told friends of this, they were stunned. SMH
When the two non-conservatives at the top are done beating each other to a bloody pulp, we’ll have a better race.

He’s also on record to eliminate PP abortion funding. I’d like him to say zero federal funding for PP.
Actually, the association with them could help him. Whether we like it or not, Sharpton has morphed himself from a common street thug to a respected pundit, at least to non-conservatives.
Carson creates a bridge of reconciliation for Sharpton, when he says I agree with his goals but not his methods. What are Sharpton’s goals? Racial justice. Is anyone against that?
We may have different definitions, but I would hope all agree that racial justice is a worthy thing.
But there is a large bloc of voters who are of strife. Tired of division. They look at Washington, and all they see is Republicans fighting Democrats. Many are disappointed that our biracial president not only didn’t do more to continue the betterment of race relations but rather used thoffice to mare them infinitely worse. We have Occupy Wall Street and the dems stirring up class warfare.
And some folks are saying stop!!
And so they are naturally drawn to someone who appears to want to lead the nation on the road to reconcliation.
Is that enough to win an election?
Beats me. But I’m voting for Cruz, anyway.
I am being fair. That falls over the line from moderately pro-life to pro-abort.
Most abortions happen in the first trimester. Anyone unwilling to support a fairly ban is proabort.
People have been ragging on Carson for supporting RU-486!, which only terminates early pregancies! trump’s support for all but late term pregancies is NOT pro-life!
And Carson's close friend and adviser, Armstrong Williams is coming out, BIG TIME, for the NOI and Louis Farrakhan, which is despicable...to say the least!
You may be for Cruz, but pumping up Ben isn't going to help you or Cruz!
But to the middle and the disenchanted left, it IS pro-life. Any GOP candidate will need some of those votes to win.

Add to that your abject lack of factual knowledge about Carson and Trump, as well as those who support Trump, only leaves you unable to discuss the matter.
