>>Trumps supporters still believe GWB did a good job after 9/11, they may have been offended at his statements.<<
I doubt it, but anyone who hadn’t really settled on a GOP candidate yet certainly should have been, and probably was.
Any previous Trump supporters here who changed your mind as a result of his Bush not keeping us safe comment? Anyone?
I think what’s happening is that the anti-Bush/anti-Trump crowd (yes, Trump supporters, that crowd does exist and it’s YUUGE by the way) are somewhat indifferent to whether Rubio or Cruz or Fiorina or Carson emerge from the pack. When one does, as Carson currently is, some change their previous preference and go with the one emerging.
After all, if neither Bush nor Trump get the nomination, that’s eventually what’s got to happen, i.e., voters have to find another candidate to concentrate on primarily. (pun not intended, but hey, it works.)

No, that statement did not change my mind, I am still a Trump supporter and was a Bush supporter, GW not JEB.
However you look at it, the worst terrorist action in this country happened on 9/11 and I have always believed that if there had been coordination between intelligence agencies it could have been prevented. GW did however, handle it well, better I believe than anyone else would have.
