Hey dopey, did the Founding Fathers think of Martians and people from outer space when they used the word alien in the Constitution and other original laws in the 1700s and 1800s? Its not the word that is the problem, its the people it applies to. Changing the word doesn't change the people. We could change the law to officially call them "hard working undocumented saints" and, in 10 years, that would be a pejorative.

Why ? Many of them with multiple felony records and deportations are not "undocumented" their crimes are very well documented.
Alien simply means something or someone who does not come from where it is.

If, for example, the United States were to declare war on the nation of Mexico tomorrow (as we did in 1846, and to some extent in 1915), whose side would he be on?
And if the obvious answer to that is not satisfactory, why should we go on pretending that he didn’t lie when he took the oath of office?
