With luck it collapsed the tunnels the ChiComs are building to Pakistan but since they’re using the technology we gave them probably not.
Yes it is - depending on how deep it is. A 7.2(?) did quite a bit of damage here in Seattle. I’m guessing over there it will mean mud huts crumbled and people died. Hopefully the bad guys. (Hey - maybe they will view it as “God Willing” and give up!?)
oops - it was a 6.8 here in Seattle. So their 7.4 puts it at 6x more powerful iirc.
Theirs was at a depth of 213.5 km - pretty deep. I’m guessing not too much damage.
It’s a logarithmic scale, so 7.4 would be just about 4x more energy than 6.8 (antilog of 0.6 equals 3.98).
There isn’t much in Afghanistan to damage in the first place.
SOUTH ASIA - must be Common Core education. If that’s in South Asia I’m a Dutchman’s Uncle which I ain’t. Look at the USGS map folks and see how dumb the news media is.

From reading various sources, significant damage seems to have occurred over a large region.
