But I don’t want to watch anyone perform surgery for 20 hours. I want a president whose speeches are inspiring, who interacts with foreign leaders in a dynamic way, and lights a fire under the few conservatives in congress.

Thank you. That was what I was trying to say many posts back. I am sitting here watching and listening to the waves crash onto the shore at The Beach Club. We were just talking about how much nicer it is now instead of the hot summer days. We have the sliding doors open in a bedroom and the living room. It is wonderful.

People call CARSON a conservative Christian, but his own statements say otherwise. CARSON’s stand on social issues is disturbing.

BEN CARSON - ON SOCIAL ISSUES
Carson has expressed support for same-sex civil unions, and following the Supreme Court’s ruling legalizing gay marriage in all 50 states, he conceded the fight was over by declaring the ruling the “law of the land.” (Newsmax)

Despite maintaining a strong pro-life record, in a 1992 interview, Dr. Carson said that while he does not perform abortions, he personally referred women seeking abortions to other doctors. In the same interview, he said that he “would never advocate it’s illegal for a person to get an abortion.” (Baltimore Sun)

Dr. Carson co-authored a medical research paper in 1992 where he outlined his support for the use of aborted baby organs for research purposes. Carson defended his past statements, saying, “To not use the tissue that is in a tissue bank, regardless of where it comes from, would be foolish. Why would anybody not do that?”

Numerous conservatives have expressed that by providing the demand that abortion providers will supply the market and that participating in this practice is being complicit. (Life Site News)

As revelations came to light about Dr. Carson referring the mothers of unborn children with potential birth defects to abortionists, his campaign defended the practice. A campaign spokesman said, “he [Carson] believes in quality medical care, No. 1, and secondly, he believes in people making their own decisions based on facts and information.” Pressed on whether Carson stands by his decision to do so, the same spokesman said yes. The statement is particularly troubling given that pro-abortion proponents use similar language regarding a decision between the patient and their doctor, but not mentioning the life of the child. (Politico)

Since news surfaced of a 1992 research paper co-authored by Dr. Carson that included the use of fetal tissue, Caron’s stance on abortion has come under immense scrutiny and his defense of his previous medical decisions has been troubling to many in the pro-life movement. When asked if Carson stands by his past decision to refer patients to abortion doctors, Carson’s Communications Director said “He believes in quality medical care, No. 1, and secondly, he believes in people making their own decisions based on facts and information.”Additionally, the spokesman went on to say that Carson believes that you can’t stop abortion by making it illegal. The spokesman told Politico, “he [Carson] has always believed that the battle over abortion had to be waged in the hearts and minds of Americans, that you cannot legislate morality. But he also believes we’re winning the debate.” (Politico)

In the 1990s, Carson was a board member of the Baltimore Charitable Foundation which gave $200,000 in grants to Planned Parenthood. When confronted with this fact, and asked if Carson knew about the grants a spokesman said, “it doesn’t really matter.” (Politico)

When asked if he would support abortion in the case of incest or rape, Dr. Carson said, “I would hope that they would very quickly avail themselves of the emergency room, and in the emergency room, they have the ability to administer RU-486 and other possibilities before you have a developing fetus.” RU-486 is an abortifacient that kills a fertilized egg by artificially denying it the ability to attach to the uterine wall. Using Dr. Carson’s own standard of life beginning at conception, this would then constitute murder. (Politico)

During the campaign Dr. Carson has struggled to define when he believes life begins. He told ABC News that life begins “when the heart starts beating” but later clarified that he meant conception. (Politico)

I read about those, weeks ago and is the main reason I do not like him as a candidate. I do not like his gun views, either.

He spent 20 hours in the operating room. That leaves four hours for parenting, sex, sleeping and reading up on the issues facing his community, State and Federal government.

It’s great to be a neurosurgeon. I totally respect him for that career. But the truth is that you don’t have time to think about or do other things if you are to be a well rounded and informed person to run for president.

We have one in the family. I love him inside and out. He’s the best person I know. But I would not elect him to be president. He calls his uncle, my husband, to find out who to vote for and to summarize the major issues - quick.

Thank you. That’s what we need to do.

Really really need to do.

I was as surprised as anyone about the polls but if we get him as a nominee, OK. I am in.

Not a rock star to me. He performed three surgeries on a young woman without ever looking at her MRI! In my book, it would be inexcusable to perform any surgery, let alone brain surgery, without a proper workup!

I have no doubt that as a pediatric neurosurgeon, any abortion referral he made was for an infant terribly malformed and unlikely to survive more than a day after birth.

Think.

What did he do for a living???? He has seen horrible and sad sad things. Infants.

Things that none of us ever imagined could happen to a developing fetus.

I”m gonna type this one more time to you, really really really really really slowly....so maybe you can wrap your tiny mind around it. It is not Trump I am reacting to....it’s not Trump’s rational supporters either...but yes I am reacting to the non intellectual blubbering sycophantic fantasy projectors who have taken leave of their faculties in a fan girl type man crush.

Maybe my wife is simply more fulfilled than you are.

>> to inspire large numbers of people (NOT a team in surgery), you need to be able to raise emotions and tap into what people want <<

If you mean to say that politics ain’t brain surgery, then I gotta agree.

LOL! Now that beats all! Because I support Trump, you insult me, mock my enthusiastic support and diagnose that I must be sexually unfulfilled.

I have a right to support and to choose Mr. Trump as the candidate that I want to vote for. You can argue policy and compare styles of the various candidates. This is productive, however you get personal.

There are a group of Cruzite’s supporters who think it is okay to slander and demean another American’s free choice. I believe that your candidate would admonish you to live closer to your professed faith. You do not practice as your faith teaches, nor do you hold sacred the principles of our Founders and this nation.

Just like marxist democrats you take the low road. I feel sorry for you.

Lopeover & out

[I have no doubt that as a pediatric neurosurgeon, any abortion referral he made was for an infant terribly malformed and unlikely to survive more than a day after birth.]

Before making a judgment call on prematurely ending a pregnancy because of disabilities, I would recommend you read “Love Before First Sight” by Stephanie Randgaard. All lives matter.

That being said, CARSON also has no qualms about possibly killing a baby with the abortion pill or early pregnancies.

CONSERVATIVE REVIEW reported when asked if he would support abortion in the case of incest or rape, Dr. Not seemingly being bothered about ending the lives of early developed babies in the womb does not line up with CARSON’S denomination’s pro-life values.

CARSON is not POTUS material in my book.

I think we have an IQ deficit on your part that prevents you from following a logical progression and from any decent reading comprehension. I never said you didn't have the right to support your man, and you certainly do, and I have the right to make fun of the totally non-intellectual way you go about it.
