Yeah it is. Not a new solution, but a solution. Private insurance is far superior to medical welfare in every way. Carson's scheme is a $2000 payment to an MSA with one third of that going to a disaster-type insurance plan and the remainder to medical-related costs like co-pays and the like. So the first question I would have is in what world can the average person buy even a policy with a $10k copay for less than $700 a year. The second question is that how does someone cover a $10K copay on $1200 a year?
But let's look at that as a replacement for Medicare. Does anyone honestly think that medical coverage for an elderly person could be covered for $2000 a year? Honestly? An 85 year old Alzheimer patient covered for $2000? A 70 year old with diabetes and a heart condition for $2000? Really?

The other question was how Sid Blumenthal fit into this. He sounded like he had some gun running scheme the Clinton Family Laundry would tap into and it fell apart in Benghazi. What was that about and why did it take so much of her time?

Richard Nixon was overheard last evening while having dinner in one of the local Heavenly eateries, “they called me a crook?”

Yeah, but he had something going about gun running a third party mercenaries they were talking about. It was likely multi million dollar stuff to keep her interest since she had to keep the Foundation fed.

Then there's HRPs to control costs.

Bush ad Fox News Sunday ad Yes, I almost commented on it. He should just get out and send his otherwise wasted campaign dollars to me.

Part of the problem is so many of the uninsurables have been kicked off their plans, how do you cover pre-existing conditions or underwrite them?
Bammy destroyed the system and now how do you fix it?

Have a good friend who is an ER doctor and also has a private practice. He told me he could cut his costs at least 40% if the government would cease and desist with all the paperwork and administrative hoops he has to jump through.

Not really, because X then is $35. What ever the government ultimately decides, whether that is completely arbitrary on their part, or done as an underhanded deal with some health insurer and his Capitol Hill crony, is the price they'll pay--which becomes the price. That is my point.

how do you cover pre-existing conditions or underwrite them? HRP, work every time they're tried, most states had or have them.
Bammy destroyed the system and now how do you fix it?
Repeal and replace. Which means:
Put back the old system, 50 individual state insurance lab experiments
- PLUS -
Allow purchasing across state lines and complete portability. The crappy states will no longer host health products.
