After sending robots into the Fukushima nuclear reactor (and seeing them mysteriously die), perhaps this is the reason why Japanese officials have decided to re-start the building of a huge ice-wall for 'containment'. As Fukushima Diary reports, TEPCOs camera caught a possible aquatic living creature in retained coolant water of Reactor 3.

I hope his hair wasn't mussed up too much. He's always had a thing about neatness.

History shows again and again, how nature points out the folly of men.
With a purposeful grimace and a terrible sound
He pulls the spitting high tension wires down
Helpless people on a subway train
Scream bug-eyed as he looks in on them
He picks up a bus and he throws it back down
As he wades through the buildings toward the center of town
Oh no, they say he’s got to go go go Godzilla
Oh no, there goes Tokyo go go Godzilla
History shows again and again
How nature points up the folly of men
Classic SCTV!
And look at the aquatic nightmare underneath at Bikini Bottom!
Think about it folks.

Now someone tell me that Fuku was or is going to end life on a continent.
maybe some mutant ninja turtles?
She’s like a beautiful Godzilla....Without thousands of fleeing Japanese.
Uhhhh....you haven’t been following Fukushima...I can tell. The Japanese gov made it illegal for physicians to treat patients from Fukushima “without authorization” and then they enacted laws making it illegal to “gossip” about Fukushima so the average citizen can’t share info. But citizens there do buy geiger counters and report medical issues as well as possible (back channels). So now, only trickles of information come out but the news is not good, in fact, it’s bad. Blacking out coverage and eliminating access to objective healthcare doesn’t mean Fushima is not harming people and has not harmed people.
I thought that was a C.H.U.D
Never heard that Fuku was going to end life on a continent. What I heard as medical problems like those suffered by Chernobyl victims and thyroid cancer and nose bleeds, exhaustion etc. do exist in Fuku - residents are not allowed to talk about it publicly so they try to get the word out secretively. Give it a year, and it will have leaked out more. Is it likely you can keep people living, breathing, eating, drinking food water air containing radioactive waste and stay healthy? Uh, no. Scientists reported illnesses and deaths from Chernobyl and the radiation industry pretends that all just didn’t happen, didn’t exist, no one was harmed. So now Japan has had its chernobyl and once again, the same chorus is insisting it didn’t happen, didn’t hurt anyone.
I’m sure everyone heard about the explosion of a trench containing “low level radioactive waste” about 100 miles from Las Vegas, right? Yesterday , news coverage included comments that residents were “flat out lied to” (told there was debris on a road, hence road closure when in fact it was radioactive debris ejected from a trench in an explosion Today - no mention of lying to residents - news stories nice and clean now! Of course.
