I think he will throw cultural conservatives under the bus at first opportunity. I think he will appoint more Liberal judges to the Federal courts.
He will temporarily patch economic problems, but leave the gaping cultural wounds untouched, or perhaps ripped open further.

I think Cruz would also help American Industry, but Cruz would appoint sane judges, not left wing kook-nuts like Trump's sister who is a Federal judge.
People need to remember that Trump has been a realityTV star for years, he is in good with quite a few people in Hollywood and among the Manhattan elite.
Knowing nothing more about it, I would chalk this up to personal friendships and loyalty. I am suspicious about whether Trump is actually conservative, but these sorts of accolades from liberals don’t really bother me.
