Webcams set up along Mexico’s coastline are streaming live video as the strongest hurricane ever recorded in the Pacific Ocean prepares to make landfall.

They have no protective dune line and structures are not elevated. The storm surge is going to just tear up some oceanfront property. That would be true of just a run-of-the-mill hurricane. If this remains a 5 it’ll take it all down to concrete slab several blocks inland.
