Add me to the “feel sorry for her” list.
She grew up, on tv, w/famous doting parents who divorced. Her mom was ALL about appearance (look at the family photo of little Chastity—Cher waaaay before 6figure plastic surgeries). Chas, by her own words in her book, says she was abused by the Lesbian nanny (how PC and uber trendy for Cher to “find” such a nanny). So she is scarred by that—now attracted to women because of the abuse? But she doesn’t thinks she’s a lesbian so she thinks she must be a “man.” And her mom, before such surgeries became “trendy” has issues with her issues. So she turns to hormones, and surgeries, and public confessions (like the one this thread is about) and food (trying to fill the hurt w/food).
Chastity needed a good shrink to help her heal from her abuse by her nanny (and a whole host of daddy/mommy issues). But I think counseling away from transgendering is frowned upon (must be PC above all else) so here is this poor, tormented soul.
Good summary, PennsylvaniaMom. “Transgender” is a symptom of a lot of things wrong in a person’s life. However, one is not supposed to say anything is wrong, these days, except “racism,” so nothing is done to help the people.
