Yep. Cheese Whiz, cheese in a squirt can to put on garlic Triskits, and on and on. I’m there.

You shouldn’t. I smoked cheese for decades.

It’s true. I saw a guy shot over cheese, once.

I’ll second that. I like cheese a lot but sometimes I don’t eat any for weeks and I don’t think a thing about it.

Good cheese is a beautiful thing. And as a good midwestern boy that knows the cheese pairing for most things I could certainly be classified as an addict.

Ah, more of the “any food that you enjoy is eeeeeeeevil” stuff. “Cheese is not different than crack (aside from chemistry, how it is ingested, how it metabolized, etc.)!”

I’d wager that all foods result in some level of casomorphins production. Its why we feel good when we eat.

Unless of course its hospital food.

I'm calling political operatives assaulting the cheese industry.

Good cheese = 10 year old white Vermont Cheddar, a really dry smoked Gouda, any rock hard parmesean or romano, locetelli, along with a good dry cured tender pork salami and a glass of hearty red wine and bread.

You can't say that. FR mods might delete your post. Say Bull Cheese instead.

The article is discussing “processed cheese,” not the real fermented and aged dairy. Maybe it’s because I lived in the Netherlands for fifteen years that I noticed. What most Americas call “cheese,” is not. Most highly processed pseudo foodstuffs are addictive by design so as to keep the consumer purchasing.

I don’t know if I’m addicted and it is unlikely I’ll ever find out because I eat some form of cheese in almost every meal I eat and don’t plan to quit!
