It's amazing how clear a read we have on these things.

I suspect that Trump scared them into the accord. If it was any of the Weak Sisters (all of the candidates sans Cruz) there would have been no need. The Socialist Status Quo would have been kept. With Trump in the mix, all that changed.

Whatever happens with Hitlery and ValJarJarBinks, you have to admit, the introduction of Trump has thrown the game into disarray.
