What is your overall take on these hearings. I’m seeing a lot of angst and disgust here.

Did they manage to do serious damage to the Beast or not?

No serious damage was done nor expected. The format protects Hillary with the Reps challenging her and the Dems defending her. There is no real ability to do detailed follow-up. We must remember that Hillary has access to the questions beforehand from the Dem side and she has all the information that has been discovered behind closed doors during the committee's investigation. Hillary is well-prepared and can lie with a straight face.

The MSM will conclude that no damage was done whether true or not. So far, the most interesting and surprising revelation has been Hillary still sticking to the video story despite being confronted with her own past private statements and the assessment by other government agencies.

Hillary will be the victim again--her most effective role.
