I’m sorry, but my recollection is that the ‘friendlys’ were the ones that raped him with a knife. He was still alive in that heartbreaking picture of him with the ‘friendlys’. His neck muscles still have integrity in that picture, if he had been dead at that time his head and neck would have been slack. He didn’t die in the Consulate. Again, I have read that he was abused before he was deposited at the hospital.
I believe that there are those stories.
I am just saying I did not read that in the ones I read.
That would have been the final humiliation for a guy who had been pretty much screwed for months prior to this.
