I remember at the time so many people were attacking Hillary. All I could think of was to tell them "Shut Up!" Stop saying bad things about Hillary. We *WANT* her to win. (The Primary)
I could see the "Black guy" trick coming from a mile off. I was urging us to nominate a Black guy back in 1996 because I knew it would galvanize the electorate. The Dems just did it first.
Anyway, too many of our people were trashing Hillary during the Dem primary, and the best thing they could have done was to be quiet. I was almost afraid they were going to do it again this year too.
