I agree with you. That poll I linked would put them (combined) at 49% right now.

I agree about Fiorina as well. I don’t mean this disrespectfully, but Carson was suspect as well for different reasons. She was just a fake IMO. Carson is a good buy, but simply not presidential in the long run >IMO.

.Here ....from yesterday....
Dr. Ben Carson: “Al Sharpton and I Have the Same Goals.” http://freedomoutpost.com/2015/10/dr-ben-carson-says-al-sharpton-and-i-have-the-same-goals/#Tj81hvfX ^ | October 20, 2015 | Kelleigh Nelson

“Sharpton and I Have the Same Goal,” Says Ben Carson, “Just Different Ideas on How to Get There.”

Ben Carson’s April, 2015, article in National Review state: Last week, I had the pleasure of speaking at the National Action Network’s (NAN) 17th annual national convention in New York City.

NAN is one of the leading civil-rights organizations in the United States. It was founded in 1991 by the Reverend Al Sharpton to “promote a modern civil rights agenda that includes the fight for one standard of justice, decency and equal opportunities for all people regardless of race, religion, nationality or gender.”

Dr. Carson defended his actions, saying that we should not remain in our camps, but should reach out to the opposition. I agree with Jan Morgan, who said, “When you participate in an event organized by a racist thug, you validate him and give him credibility he does not deserve. Participating in this event is as repulsive to me as Obama meeting with and negotiating with Iran.”

Excuse me Dr. Carson, but Al Sharpton’s only desire is to feed his lust for money and power. He is a far left liberal, filled with hatred and negative rhetoric for America, for whites, police officers, and for anything conservative.

Carson hanging out with the man who isn’t a real Reverend.
Hey Sharpton when are you gonna pay your back taxes.

Carson is a recent Republican I think just a year ago he became a Republican.

I believe Trump’s is usually around 34% to 36% with spikes on some days going to 40%.

Not to be argumentative, but I still think he’s solid in the 29% to 33% range.

I’ve revised this upwards from 28 to 32% in the last day or so.

Anything showing him at 24% or 40% reveals a flawed polling process IMO.

This calls to question all the info in the poll.

I’d like to think he’s in the 34-36% range, with spikes to 40%, but I’m not guying in on that just yet.

Better to have him a bit under-reported than over reported IMO.

The first primary is going to be a real eye opener.

Isara posted a chart comparing Cruz, Carson and Trump on the major issues.

Isara's chart is basically worthless, especially on immigration where Conservative Review covers up Cruz's positions on amnesty/legalization that he still holds today, but then dings Trump for positions he held years ago. I have been talking about this on multiple threads already, and can show Cruz explicitly detailing his support for legal status for illegals to "bring them out of the shadows." You will not see this reported on Conservative Review.

The first primary is going to be a real eye opener.and the drill down state polls

Yes Trump usually extends his leads by a lot in state polls. Next year is coming fast now.

Predictions: Trump wins Iowa by 10%, New Hampshire by 25%, South Carolina by 20%.

Better to have him a bit under-reported than over reported IMO.

I agree. Lull your opposition and then kick their butts at game time. Old school stuff.

But..but.. Trump will soon get bored and drop out. And Cruz will move in like a jackal waiting for the lion to get bored of eating the hunted deer. /S

I agree, and in that sense your 34-36% may be more accurate. I just don't know for sure.

Predictions: Trump wins Iowa by 10%, New Hampshire by 25%, South Carolina by 20%.

I wouldn't guess this right now. I have no reason to think you're wrong. What I do think will be surprising, is how much better Bush does than folks are expecting.

My guess for Trump if I made one, is that whatever the first poll reveals, expect it to carry through, for better or worse.

Better to have him a bit under-reported than over reported IMO.

I agree. Lull your opposition and then kick their butts at game time. Old school stuff.

Agreed...

"I am convinced that we need a candidate that plays hardball."

He's the only one IMHO that can take on the Clintons. If he can deal with all the miscreants he had to deal with to build buildings and get-r-done, he can handle the Clintons....

One other point. The MOE for this poll is 5.5% who lean Republican so Trump could be at 37.5%, and I thinks the error margin in these poll usually trends higher for Trump than lower. :-)

I get your point, but I am saying by the time voting actually rolls around, that won’t be possible. Trump and Carson combined right now are somewhere around mid to upper 40s.... There won’t be a single vote cast until February....

Now, I fully expect that the non establishment candidate support will continue to grow... I fully expect that Trump will alone be in the mid 40s by February if its still even a 3 way race by then.

Trump is going to continue to slowly grow his lead, and do so in the headwind that is the GOPe trying to destroy him....

I am telling you, the fight you are about to see coming from the GOPe will make you wonder why they haven’t unleashed such an onslaught on Obama in 7 years... it will be like nothing you have seen before...

I suspect highly that it will backfire, and Trump will grow even more the harder they try to ram Jeb et al down our throats.

Trump says one of the reasons that DC is a mess is that everyone is lining their pockets doing things against the interests of the average American, like NAFTA, shipping jobs oversees, not being energy independent

I always thought the Bush’s could have saved a lot of lives if we didn’t need Arab oil, and if we became an oil and gas exporter we could have paid down our debt.

These guys are willing to spend millions in negative campaigns because unlike Obama who plays the same game of Pork Trump says American economy, Jobs, energy, and veterans are his top priorities.

The Tea Party and Libertarians are his only allies.

A lot of dead wood needs to be chopped
