You are now starting to understand the extent of the problem. Not to mention that all the major stock markets of the world are down 20-40% a condition that existed in 2008 prior to the American markets collapsing. The American markets were the last to go. Brace yourself. From Wiki: The Deutsche Bundesbank (pronounced [ˈdɔʏtʃə ˈbʊndəsˌbaŋk]; German for German Federal Bank) is the central bank of the Federal Republic of Germany and as such part of the European System of Central Banks (ESCB). Due to its strength and former size, the Bundesbank is the most influential member of the ESCB. Both the Deutsche Bundesbank and the European Central Bank (ECB) are located in Frankfurt, Germany. It is sometimes referred to as "Buba" for Bundesbank.[1] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deutsche_Bundesbank
